9/11 Charity Tournament Features Live Master Disney Artist Painting

The Shute Family Foundation is proud to announce its 6th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, taking place on Friday, September 11, at the Saint Anne Country Club in Feeding Hills, MA. This premier regional event brings together golfers, veterans, first responders, and business leaders from across Western Massachusetts and Central Connecticut to honor the memories of our nation’s fallen heroes.

To date, the Shute Family Foundation has raised an incredible $184,000.00 for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. With a fundraising goal of $50,000.00 for this year’s tournament, the organization is on track to smash through the $200,000.00 lifetime milestone.

“Reaching this $200,000 milestone on the anniversary of September 11th is a testament to the incredible generosity of our local community,” said Dave Shute, founder of the Shute Family Foundation. “Our mission is to support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in their vital work of providing mortgage-free homes to our nation’s catastrophically injured veterans, Gold Star families, and fallen first responder families. We invite everyone to join us this year to help us surpass our biggest goal yet.”

The high-impact tournament format will feature a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. In addition to a premier day on the course, participants will take part in a powerful opening ceremony honoring local military and first responders, followed by awards, raffles, and a live charity auction.

The event’s live auction centerpiece features a live speed-painting performance by world-renowned Master Disney Artist Rob Surette of Haverhill, MA. Surette will paint an amazing, patriotic piece of art live at the tournament, which will then be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the foundation.

Tournament registration, corporate sponsorship packages, and direct donation opportunities are currently open but are filling quickly. To register a team, secure a sponsorship, or learn more about how you can support this milestone event, please visit www.theshutefamilyfoundation.com.
