Time to clean out your closets, basement and garage of items you no longer want.
Sustainable Suffield’s annual Townwide Tag Sale is the weekend of May 2 and 3, from 8 to 4 p.m.
Scan the QR code with your phone or tablet to register. Choose one or both days to run your tag sale. Then, list your items with specific descriptions. For example, instead of saying you have “sporting equipment” for sale, specify “soccer cleats and shin guards for kids 9 to 12 years old.”
We’ll combine your list(s) with those from all the other participants to create a master list for each day. We’ll post it to the Sustainable Suffield town web page and our Facebook page.
We’ll also produce Suffield Google Maps for each day with tear drops designating all the locations and listings, including yours. Your private info, such as name and email address, won’t be shown.
This year, we’re introducing 24”- wide by 18”-tall, two-sided, reusable, corrugated plastic tag-sale lawn signs with heavy-duty wire stakes. Your cost is $5, cash only. When you scan the QR code to list your items, you’ll see where and when to buy the signs.
The rain date for the tag sale is May 9. If that’s a miserable day, the Townwide Tag Sale for 2026 will be cancelled.
