On a beautiful Saturday, June 13, Suffield High School Class of 2026 graduated in fine fashion. Led by Class Marshalls from the Class of 2027, President Amelia Shanks and Vice President Shaunak Ukidwe, the soon-to-be graduates entered Beneski Field to an enthusiastic audience of family and friends.

SHS students celebrate their graduation with the traditional tossing of the caps!
The Commencement activities included beautiful music performed by SHS’s Symphonic Band, directed by Band Director Corey Killian, and the SHS Concert Choir, directed by Choir Director Anthony Ferreria.
Speakers included remarks by Class President, Nuvia Torres-Flores, Board of Education representative Brian Fry, Salutatorian Anwesha Chandra, Valedictorian Noora Khaled, SHS Principal Anthony Hibbert and Matthew Dunbar, Superintendent of Schools, who also conferred diplomas to each of the graduating seniors.
Calling of the roll for confirmation of the diplomas was carried out by the Class of 2026 Officers President Nuvia Torres-Flores, Vice-President Kameron Aldridge, Class Historian Kylie Tinnirella and Class Secretary Anwesha Chandra.
Also in attendance were CT State Representative Tami Zawistowski, CT Senator John Kissel and First Selectman Colin Moll.
