Suffield Reads Kwame!

Calling all readers! Suffield Public Schools and Kent Memorial Library are excited for Suffield Reads Kwame, a collaboration between the public and school librarians in Suffield that aims to connect readers across generations, as we read the works of a single author – Kwame Alexander!

Kwame is a notable New York Times best selling writer of 45 books for all ages, including many award winners such as The Crossover, The Undefeated, The Door of No Return, and his newest The Mighty Macy. Kwame’s poetry, picture books, non-fiction texts, and novels are powerful, emotional and enlightening.

We hope you will join us in this reading adventure, then celebrate with us on Thursday, October 1st when Kwame visits Suffield. Tickets for this event are free and available on a first come, first serve basis. Registration will open on September 1st at 6 p.m. through Kent Memorial Library.

Special thanks to the Suffield Foundation for Excellent Schools, The Suffield Library Foundation, The Friends of the Library, and the Meghan Voisine Kindness Matters Foundation for making this event possible through their generosity and financial support.
