KML Gallery Features Broad Brook Artist

The Suffield Arts Council will feature the work of Joe Burger, a talented watercolor artist, during July, at Suffield’s Kent Memorial Library.
The show may be viewed during library hours from July 1 through July 31.

A Broad Brook artist, Mr. Burger will host a “Meet the Artist” reception on Thursday, July 9th from 6 to 8 p.m. in the gallery.
He began his artistic journey shortly after retiring from a Mechanical Engineering career in 2009.

Joe belongs to several art groups, has won numerous awards for his work, and loves the challenge of commissioned paintings. His work is usually in a traditional, realistic style. He currently serves as an instructor in watercolor at the Windsor Locks Senior Center and Arts Center East in Vernon, Connecticut.

This show was made possible through the efforts of the artist, the Suffield Arts Council, and the Kent Memorial Library staff.
