The Sibbil Dwight Kent Chapter of the Daughters of The American Revolution (DAR) held its Good Citizen Award presentation on May 17 at King House Museum on South Main Street. The Good Citizen Award encourages and rewards the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in a high school senior. For 2026, we took great pride in honoring the Suffield High School recipient Kathryn Claire Tini and the Windsor Locks High School recipient Aparna Divyadarshini Acharya. State Representatives Tami Zawistowski and Jane Garibay, Suffield High School Principal Anthony Hibbert of Suffield High and Windsor High School Principal Jeffrey Bernabe of attended the presentation.
