The Suffield Athletic Hall of Fame (SAHOF) is pleased to announce a 2026 induction class consisting of eight individuals and one team. An induction ceremony and dinner will be held at the Crestview Country Club on Saturday, November 21. The eight outstanding Suffield athletes being inducted to the hall of fame this year are the following (with brief highlights):
* Katelyn Corr – All-State softball player at Suffield High School (SHS), competed collegiately at Stony Brook University
*Susan Graves-Persio – pioneering multi-sport athlete at SHS and Hanover College
* Robbie Hitt – All-State baseball player at SHS, played for Quinnipiac University and in the Milwaukee Brewers’ minor league organization
*Dan Maroney – cross-country and track star at SHS and the University of Vermont
* Jack Patterson – multi-sport athlete at Suffield Academy, played baseball at Bryant College and for the Chicago Cubs’ minor league organization
*Bob Quaqliaroli – multi-sport athlete and long-time local sports coach, organizer, and umpire
*Austin Rupp – State champion in golf and All-State in hockey at SHS; standout golfer at RPI
*Sarah Wilson – cross-country and track star at SHS and Stonehill College
The team being inducted is the 1991-92 Suffield High School Boys Soccer team, who were the Class M state co-champions.
