The SLC annual meeting will take place on November 8 at 2 p.m. at the Suffield Senior Center. The guest speaker will be Mr. Joseph Grimard.
Mr. Grimard has been a Director of the Land Conservancy for many years and has taught science at the high school level for 34 years. He, with the help and support of many, has worked to create the John and Madeline McClean Outdoor Educational Preserve. The Preserve’s main focus is to educate our community about the wonders of the natural world. Over the years the Preserve has hosted many public events such as a bioblitz, bird, tree, and flower walks along with hundreds of student-driven education opportunities, events, activities and research.

Mr. Grimard will give a short talk via a google slide presentation. This will address the creation, past events, ongoing events and future projects to be held on the Outdoor Education Preserve property.
