Three generations of the Gogulski family have raised tobacco on the farm at Rising’s Corner that the photographer’s father, Charles Gogulski, bought in 1939, moving from Taintor Street. The photos, circa 1950, show Charles handling cut broadleaf and hauling a loaded rack to the curing shed. Rising’s Corner is the three-town corner of West Suffield, Feeding Hills and Southwick.
