Suffield Greater Together Community Fund Advisory Committee is now accepting applications for committee members. The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has established a Greater Together Community Fund for the Town of Suffield. Over $44,000 has been distributed to 13 non-profit organizations in support of our Suffield community during its first two grant cycles. The next funding round is planned for 2024. We need your help!
The purpose of the Greater Together Community Fund is to support the Suffield community in taking ownership around the needs in their town and offers the greatest benefit to town residents; to encourage broad and inclusive civic engagement; and to anchor the Hartford Foundation in each town.
The Suffield Advisory Committee is looking forward to welcoming new members. To be eligible, you must be a resident of Suffield, at least 14 years of age and not a current elected official of Suffield. Previous experience in community organizations or in grant-making is not needed. Individuals who have not previously participated in community organizations are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Individuals who are interested in applying can visit the hfpg.org/suffieldcf to find more information and fill out an application. The deadline for applications is Wednesday May 31.
