On Saturday, December 2 you will be afforded the opportunity to view artists’ studios in Suffield and West Suffield, as well as the art department at Suffield Academy.
Don’t miss this chance to see many wonderful examples of the creations of these artists, which will include paintings, photographs, ceramics, jewelry, felting, and mixed media. You may find an “artist at work”, view original pieces or prints for sale, the answer to your search for that special holiday gift. We promise that you will enjoy the time spent with each artist that you meet, and enjoy a special day exploring their studios.
Participating in this year’s event will be Christine MacClintic, Peggy MacKinnon, Andra Jaffee, Diane Caswell Christian, Deb Peleika, Rick Stromoski, Laurie Tavino, Fran Milliken, and from the Suffield Academy Art Department: Bill Butcher, Melinda Fuller, Jim Fuller, Erica Caginalp, and Jenny Graham. Work of Suffield Academy students will be on display, as will artwork of guest artists Jill Butcher, Bill Butcher Jr., and Aubrey Feliciano.
To assist you in planning your studio tour, a special preview show will open on Friday, November 24th in the Kent Memorial Library, found at 61 Ffyler Place. Here you’ll find samples of artists’ work, information about the artist, about the tour, and tour maps.
