The Suffield Observer Board of Directors will sponsor a scholarship to a Suffield resident who will be entering an accredited two- or four-year institution of higher education in fall 2026. The scholarship is in memory of Samuel S. Fuller, the founder of the paper, and Robert O.Y. Warren, a former chairman of the board.
Applicants must:
- Be a Suffield resident and high school senior.
- Be entering an accredited two- or four-year institution of higher education in Fall/September 2026.
- Intend to major in history, communications, journalism, creative writing, political science, or research.
- Have demonstrated participation in community service.
The $2,000 scholarship can be applied for by contacting the high school guidance department, by requesting a form from the Observer office or a link below.
