Two Suffield Middle School students have been recognized for their outstanding academic achievement and leadership, earning the prestigious Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS) Scholar-Leader Award.
Zoe Hamylak and Olivia Grenier were selected to represent Suffield Middle School at the annual CAS Scholar-Leader Banquet, held on May 18, 2025, at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville, Connecticut.
The Scholar-Leader Award is presented annually to two students from each middle school in Connecticut who have distinguished themselves through exceptional scholarship and demonstrated leadership both in school and within their communities.
As part of the honor, Zoe and Olivia, along with their families and school officials, were invited to attend the statewide awards banquet, where each student received an award recognizing their accomplishments. The evening’s program also featured remarks from the Connecticut Commissioner of Education and other distinguished guests.
