Polar Express: A Story Time

Kids ages 3-5 are invited to board the Polar Express on Tuesday, December 5 at 6:30 p.m., or, Wednesday, December 6, at 10:30 a.m. Travel to the North Pole, drink hot cocoa, meet Santa and hear the story of The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg. You can even wear your pajamas if you’d like! We’ll be at 61 Ffyler Place. Sponsored by Friends of Kent Memorial Library.

Decorate a Gingerbread House

Kids (age 3 and up) and teens are invited to decorate a gingerbread house with the Kent Memorial Library staff at Second Baptist Church (100 North Main Street) on Saturday, December 9, at 10:30 a.m. to decorate a pre-assembled gingerbread house. The gingerbread house, frosting, candy and other edible and non-edible decorations will be provided through funding from Friends of Kent Memorial Library.

Winter Reading Programs – Win an iPad!

Kent Memorial Library’s Winter Reading Program runs January 20 to March 3, for kids and teens. Want to win an iPad, a gift card to Amazon, or other great prizes? Come join Winter Reading! Play-Group

We have Play Group on Fridays, 10 a.m. to noon. Is it raining? Want to meet other parents and kids? New to town? Come to Play Group, offered to care-givers and children, Friday mornings any time between 10 a.m. and noon. No age restrictions, no registration required – just drop in.

Rhyme Time

Join us for Rhyme Time, infants and up. Bring your singing voice on Fridays at 10:30 a.m.: books, songs, rhymes, bubbles and fun! No registration required, just drop in.
