The Suffield Woman’s Club (SWC) presented Citizens Restoring Congamond (CRC) with a check for ten thousand dollars for the use in the Babb’s Beach Project. SWC Lisa Pepe and Past President Joan Bedard attended the CRC monthly meeting on Tuesday, September 13, to make the surprise presentation.
Through the efforts of SWC members throughout the years, a fund was established for the purpose of community improvement and a project that many would enjoy. The Babb’s Beach project certainly fills that requirement.
“We are pleased that the Suffield Woman’s Club saw fit to honor CRC with this donation to Babb’s Park as we know there are so many worthy organizations in Suffield to choose from,” said Deb Herath, CRC President. “To date, this donation is the largest ever received by our organization.”
