Turkey LunchThanksgiving Dinner

On Wednesday, November 16, there will be a special Thanksgiving dinner: Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, butternut squash, cranberry sauce, and dessert for $3.50. Reservations are required.

Holiday Fair

Join us on Tuesday, December 6, for our first annual Holiday Fair featuring local vendors from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Living with Diabetes:

November 10 at 10:30 a.m.

The American Diabetes Association: “Living with diabetes, while it can be effectively managed, can be tough at times. Every day is a new hurdle with unique challenges that you must jump over. As you get older, jumping over those hurdles can become a bit more challenging, but it’s not impossible. With age comes an increased risk for specific complications that require diligence and care to properly mitigate them.”

Alzheimer’s The Ten Signs – November 17 at 10:30 a.m.

The Alzheimer’s Association will present the Ten Early Signs and Symptoms of Alzheimer’s. “Memory loss that disrupts daily life may be a symptom of Alzheimer’s or another dementia. Alzheimer’s is a brain disease that causes a slow decline in memory, thinking and reasoning skills. There are ten warning signs and symptoms. Every individual may experience one or more of these signs in a different degree.”

Lunches are $3.50. Soup and cracker lunches start again on November 1, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Cost is $2 for 12 oz. soup and a package of oyster crackers.

11/08: Election Day – Transportation Available

11/11: No Bus, Veteran’s Day

11/15: Tanger Outlet’s at Foxwood Casino, pick up begins at 8:30 a.m.

11/17: Walmart, pick up begins at 8:30 a.m.

11/18: Molina’s Café Restaurant, pick up begins at Noon

11/24 and 11/25: No Bus

11/29: Vernon Shop, including Ann & Hope, TJ Maxx and Home Goods. Pick up begins at 9 a.m.
