Lindsey Connolly and Jason Werenski
Congratulations to Lindsey Connolly and Jason Werenski who were chosen as Booster Club Athletes of the Month for September. Students are awarded this honor based on their athletic and academic accomplishments, attitude and leadership skills.
Lindsey has played Varsity Soccer for four years and has been a major contributor to the success of the team. She was chosen Captain of the team this year by her peers and was selected to the All-Conference Team as a junior. Lindsey leads by example on and off the field and underclassmen look up to her. Lindsey is a High Honors student. Her combined success on the field and in the classroom is impressive and inspirational to others.
Jason Werenski has played Varsity soccer for the past three years and is Captain of the Boys’ soccer team. He has a true passion for the game of soccer and has been playing since third grade. Jason is a High Honors student and demonstrates his leadership qualities on and off the field. Jason has earned the respect of teammates, officials and his coach. Jason is the perfect example of what a student athlete at SHS should be.
