The Gift of Yourself: In this season of gift-giving, it is important to remember the gift of yourself to your family, friends, and community. Sharon Massoth, psychotherapist and life coach, truly sees the beauty of each person’s unique outlook, experiences, and potential gift of themselves. Join us on Thursday, December 1 at 10:30 a.m. where Sharon will share her own gift of intuition and what she “intuits” about one of the gifts you bring to the world.

Holiday Fair: Stop by the Suffield Senior Center on Tuesday, December 6, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., to do some holiday shopping. We have many local vendors participating, selling jams, jellies, crafts, Tupperware, Avon, Tastefully Simple, jewelry and much more!

How to be Prepared for a Town-wide Emergency: Join us on Thursday, December 15 at 10:30 a.m. with Art Groux, Director of Emergency Management for the Town of Suffield. He will discuss how you can be prepared when the lights go out, whom to call if you can, and what you need to have ready.

Suffield Senior Center’s Annual Suffield Police Department sponsored Holiday Party is on Wednesday, December 21, at 11:30 a.m. Please join us for the holiday festivities. The party is free with your $5 donation, which will be donated to the Emergency Aid Association’s Fuel Bank. Seating is limited. Please sign up for this party by December 14 by stopping by the Center or calling 860-668-8830.

Monday at the Movies: A popular movie will be shown each Monday at 1:30 p.m. beginning January 9. A classic movie will be shown on the second Tuesday of each month at 2 p.m. Call the Senior Center for movie titles. Popcorn and lemonade or iced tea will be served. These enjoyable afternoons are FREE!

UCONN Pharmacy Students will be hosting a presentation about Medication Adherence, Disposal, and Abuse on Wednesday, January 25 at 10:30 a.m. Bring your questions- their presentations are interactive and engaging. You will be sure to learn something new!
