At the controls of his excavator, Don Hinckley carefully lowers a 20-foot length of 30-inch pipe to carry storm water from Thompsonville Road near Fleming’s Trucking. Prior to this November project, the drainage was eroding the walls of a deep gulley behind neighboring homes.
