Congratulations to Lindsey Connolly, daughter of James and Andrea Connolly, who has been named the Salutatorian for the Class of 2017. Lindsey’s guidance counselor describes Lindsey as a real “go-getter” since the day she stepped into our halls as a young 9th grader. She states, “Lindsey works from an internal drive that propels her each day to give her best.” Lindsey is an honors student and has received awards in English, Science and Math. She has earned the honor of induction into the National Honor Society and the World Language Honor Society. Lindsey has been involved in many clubs and activities during her four years at Suffield High School. She has been a member of Best Buddies, Unified Basketball, Interact Club, Student Senate, WAG and Ski Club. Lindsey has been a varsity soccer player for four years and was chosen as captain this year. She earned the All-Conference Award junior year. Additionally, she has been on the varsity lacrosse team for four seasons. Lindsey received multiple Scholar Athlete awards through the years. If Lindsey has free time, you might find her volunteering as a referee for youth soccer, giving her time at the Suffield Soccer Tournament or working at a disability hospital. Lindsey will further her education at Bentley University where she plans to major in accounting, finance, or actuarial science.

Once again, congratulations to both of these outstanding students for their tremendous accomplishments.
