With the school year ending soon and summer vacation just around the corner, now is a good time for parents to register children for summer camp, lessons or programs. The Parks and Recreation Department is offering a variety of affordable activities that will provide your child with a terrific experience. Summer camp is a great way for your child to develop new friendships, learn new skills, and make lasting memories!

Imagine your child performing center stage and learning acting skills. How about learning a new language – Hola! Or getting creative juices flowing with paints, beads or fuzzy art! The Performing Arts Theater Camp, Spanish Camp, and a variety of Crafty Camps will be ideal for your child.

If your child is interested in learning a new sport or honing their skills, we have a variety of sports camps. Tennis camps, Baseball/Softball & Tee ball clinics, Soccer, Basketball and Horseback riding camps will provide your child with daily physical activity!

Leave your ‘i-gadgets’ and ‘techy toys’ at home and join in on the outdoor fun at Sunrise Day or Tween Adventure Camps. Both camps are held at beautiful Sunrise Park where children will enjoy an outdoor nature setting and a day full of fun activities and swimming. There are still spaces available at Kids Korner and Morning Munchkins camps where the fun begins for pre-school age through second grade children to have fun with crafts, parachutes play, scavenger hunts, story time, creative play and much more! This camp will be held at Spaulding School, which is a great introduction for children entering this school for the first time.
