The Suffield Athletic Hall of Fame will be holding the Fran Aniello Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 30.
The purpose of the event is to raise funds for annual scholarships given to one male and one female Suffield resident who is a graduating student athlete at Suffield High School or Suffield Academy. Proceeds also help to defray the costs of the Hall of Fame induction ceremony that honors Suffield’s finest athletes and coaches. In addition, the tournament serves as a tribute to Fran Aniello, a member of the Hall of Fame who passed away in 2015 after over 30 years as a basketball/golf/soccer coach and Athletic Director at Suffield High School.
