General Assembly Honors PHS Founder

At the September meeting of Suffield’s Polish Heritage Society, State Representative Tami Zawistowski and Mary Anne Zak show the citation from the General Assembly presented to Mrs. Zak as founder of the Society, which was celebrating its 100th meeting that day. The message of the citation ended with the traditional Polish expression of good wishes: Sto lat! “[May you live] one hundred years!” In the foreground is Society member Harry Kozikowski.
