p31_Clipart_Fall_GardenThe Suffield Garden Club will hold an evening monthly meeting on Monday, October 2, at 5:45 p.m. at the Second Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall, 100 North Main Street. Coffee, tea and a light fare precedes a business meeting and program. Guest fee is $5 and guests are cordially welcomed up to three visits per year.

Our guest speaker, Margery Winters, is the assistant director and instructor at Roaring Brook Nature Center in Canton and manages their native plant gardens. She is past chairman of the Federated Garden Club Landscape Design Study program and is a Master Landscape Design Consultant.

Margery will be presenting a power point lecture concerning The Fall Garden which will entail how to care for plants during the fall season and how to prepare gardens for winter.
