Suffield assessor Helen Totz was in Nashville on eclipse day in August and sat down with the Observer in Centennial Park on a bench engraved with one of the business skills of the park’s creator. In the background is Nashville’s concrete replica of the Parthenon, symbolizing Nashville’s slogan as “the Athens of the South.”
During their August trip to Portugal’s Azores, Jack and Kate Donnelly and The Suffield Observer stopped for their picture at a good viewpoint for Lagoa de Fogo (Lake of Fire), one of the volcano crater lakes on the island of São Miguel.
