Please Donate to the Kettle!
Did you know that the money that is raised through the Salvation Army Kettle Drive stays in Suffield to support various programs for persons in need? The kettle will be at the Subway/Dunkin Donut plaza, across from the new CVS on Mountain Road, several weekend days in December. Please support the drive and the residents of Suffield who will benefit from your donation.
Are You a Family in Need of Extra Help this Holiday Season?
There is still time to register! Residents with minor children wishing to receive help for the holidays are encouraged to call the EAA to see if they qualify, at 860-668-1986.
Please Support the Annual Appeal Campaign for Suffield Residents in Need of a Little Extra Help!
You should have received a letter from the EAA within the past few weeks. Please open the letter and respond! The EAA needs you to help promote our mission on behalf of families – right here in town – requiring support in their time of need. Read more about what we do and the impact your past donations have made by going to www.suffieldeaa.org.
Stay Warm This Winter!
We Are Taking Applications for the CT Energy Assistance Program
These government programs are designed to help offset the winter heating costs for financially eligible household so that their health is not jeopardized by the inability to afford critical heat. Please contact the EAA to schedule an appointment at 860-668-1986. More information on eligibility is available at www.ct.gov/staywarm
Some Ongoing Program Updates: Check Out Your Blood Pressure

Designer Purse Bingo
The EAA partnered with three other area food banks for a really “fun” fundraiser! The sell-out crowd enjoyed playing and winning. Thanks to everyone who supported this event through participation and sponsorship.

EAA Food Drive at the Polls for People and Pets
The food drive at the polls was a great success! Volunteers and staff solicited donations from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We received a fabulous load of food – for both people and pets. Cash and checks totaled $925. We extend our thanks to all that donated.
