Four days before Christmas, Suffield Police Chief Richard Brown happily accepts a $1,000 check from proprietor Joe Scata at the Scata Auto & Truck repair shop in Windsor Locks. At the right are Officer Peter Osowiecki and his police dog Tazz. Officer Pete and Tazz have been together two years now and will be working together on the narcotics search workshop they will present in June as part of the 2018 national workshop of the North American Police Work Dog Association, which the donation will help support. The NAPWDA event is scheduled for a week at the Big E, but the demonstration will be held at Officer Pete’s K-9 training facilities in the Windsor Marketing Group building in Windsor Locks.
