Mark your calendars for March 18-25 and get in on the SFES online auction fun! Through the generosity of local vendors, organizations, school administration, and SFES Board members, the fund raising auction includes some much sought after items for young and old alike. Almost all the items are one of a kind experiences that cannot be purchased in any store, and while many consist of experiences for students or their parents, there are some big ticket items which can be enjoyed by anyone.

You could be the lucky winner of four field level tickets to your choice of any Saturday Yankee game in New York (including the June 30 game against the Red Sox) plus a night at the Starwood Hotel in Times Square either the night before or the night after the game. Perhaps a hayride and refreshments for up to 20 people during the day or night to celebrate the fall or a special occasion would be more to your liking. If you have a budding firefighter on your hands, you can win a ride to school for your child and three others in a big red fire engine. If law enforcement is more up your child’s alley, the right bid can win him or her a ride to school in a police car, sirens a blaring!

McAlister and Spalding Schools are each offering a “principal for a week” prize which will take your student behind the scenes to deliver morning announcements, help with safety checks, call the busses and lunch with the principal etc. Eliminate wasting time standing in line to get good seats and place the winning bid on two front row seats to the Kindergarten talent show. If your student is graduating this year, how about 4 front row seats to graduation to get those great photo ops?

If “Move Up Day” at Sunrise Park is in your child’s future this spring, snag two front row seats to the action from Conway’s Kiddie Kollege. Feather and Bloom is also offering 2 beautiful items to be revealed on the SFES website. As of press time, items were still being added. For the full list of items offered and how to bid, please visit the website at www.sfes.org. Your continued generosity will enable the SFES to fulfill its mission to provide funding for outstanding educational opportunities to students in the Suffield Public Schools.
