SHS Honor Society Help at Windsor Locks Canal

Gathered at the sign-in table are some of the 22 Suffield High School Honor Society Students who on Sunday, June 3, volunteered to pick up trash and litter at the Windsor Locks Canal Park and Trail. For two and a half hours they walked the northern trails, the woodland trail and Canal Road, accumulating four or five large trash bags of recyclables and garbage. The Friends of the Windsor Locks Canal are truly grateful for this work and for the efforts of Brooke Tillotson, who organized the event.
