The Suffield Arts Council is featuring a collection of watercolor paintings by noted artist Alan Izatt of Belchertown in the Gallery of Suffield’s Kent Memorial Library, continuing through September.

This award-winning artist’s work has been featured in recent shows throughout the area. Izatt’s works include landscapes, seascapes florals, pet portraits, and automobiles, which may be done in a variety of media, including oils, watercolor, acrylics, pencil and colored pencil.

Mr. Izatt has been painting for the past 15 years. He is an active member of the Quabbin Art Association, The Wilbraham Art League and the Tobacco Valley Artists Association.

This art show began with a hanging on August 1 and is “held over” by popular demand. It will continue through September 29. The display will be refreshed with many new pieces replacing those currently on display.
