Big Barn Nears Completion

A guardian angel and an attentive dog stand watch over the graves in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, on Hill Street, as the roof of the giant barn close behind is shingled. In a few years, mourners and lot-owners hope, the arborvitaes that the barn’s owner has planted along the property line as a tree fence will grow to lessen the visual effect of the new building. (Ironically, or perhaps appropriately, arborvitae, in Latin, means The Tree of Life.)
