Harvest Fun: Saturday, November 10, 10 a.m. to Noon

Families with children ages 3–9. Celebrate the harvest! Children can make a Thanksgiving Centerpiece and decorate a harvest wreath. There will be donuts and apple cider to complete the festivities! Sponsored by Friends of Kent Memorial Library. Register or drop-in.

(Adults can register to make an autumn centerpiece using silk flowers, on the same day. Registration required.)

Polar Express Story Time: Tuesday, December 4 at 6:30 p.m. or Wednesday, December 5 at 10:30 a.m.

Children ages 3–5 are invited to participate in a Polar Express Story Time on Tuesday. Meet Santa, drink hot cocoa, make a craft, and hear the story The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg. Wear your PJ’s if you’d like. Registration is limited. This program is funded by the Friends of Kent Memorial Library.

Gingerbread House Decorating: Saturday, December 8 at 10:30 a.m.

Kids, ages 3 and up, can decorate a pre-assembled gingerbread house using frosting and candy. All supplies will be provided. Registration required. This program will be held at the Second Baptist Church (100 North Main Street) and is sponsored by the Friends of Kent Memorial Library.

Every Month 

Read to a Dog: Saturday, November 17, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Practice reading – to a dog! Individual reading sessions last 15 minutes. Working on your reading? Feeling a bit shy about reading? Want to show off your skills? Come read to a certified dog from Healers with Halos. Check them out at www.boltonvet.com. Registration required.

Rhyme Time: Fridays at 10:30 a.m.

Bring your singing voice on Fridays at 10:30 a.m. We sing, dance, blow bubbles — and have fun! Drop in.

Play Group: Fridays, 10 a.m. to Noon

Looking to meet other parents and kids? Want out of the house? Come to Play-Group, offered to care-givers and children. Drop-in.
