Winter Story Time: Wednesdays, Starts 

January 16

There will be seven weeks of stories, crafts, and activities during this 30-45 minute story time. (Ages 2-5.) Come have fun! Register or drop-in.

Winter is here – and so is Winter Reading. Read, earn a free raffle ticket each week for a Grand Prize, and spin the wheel for fun giveaways! 

We’ll kick off four weeks of awesomeness with Candy Making for Kids and Tweens: Saturday, February 2 (10 a.m. or 11 a.m.)! Dip, roll and design chocolate treats for Valentine’s Day during this tasty 45 minute program (kids in grades 1 – 5). Sponsored by the Friends of Kent Memorial Library. Registration required.

Every Month

Read to a Dog: Saturday, December 15 and January 19 (10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)

Practice reading – to a dog! Individual reading sessions last 15 minutes (10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.) Working on your reading? Feeling a bit shy about reading? Want to show off your skills?

Rhyme Time: 

Fridays at 10:30 a.m.

Bring your singing voice on Fridays at 10:30 a.m. We sing, dance, blow bubbles — and have fun. Drop in.

Play Group: 

Fridays, 10 a.m.-Noon

Looking to meet other parents and kids? Too cold to play outside? Come to Play-Group, offered to care-givers and children. Drop in.
