March 31 Music on High presents On That Note! A Connecticut-based a cappella ensemble that was founded in 2013 as part of the Hartford Gay Men’s Chorus. They have performed for several community and professional organizations, such as the Hartford Yard Goats, the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and the annual True Colors LGBT Youth Conference held at UCONN every spring. This past summer, On That Note! made its international debut by performing at the Various Voices LGBT Chorus Festival in Munich, Germany. This festival is the largest LGBT choral festival in Europe, with over 2,000 singers in attendance. The group’s repertoire ranges from classical to modern, and the members of this 15-man amateur ensemble come from all ages, professions and walks of life. From this diversity, the members of On That Note! have found their sound, sharing their love of music and delighting audiences in the process.

First Church is located at 81 High St. Please call the Church Office at 860-668-7223 for information on any of these events.
