The following events are happening in June at First Church, An Open and Affirming Church. Worship is held every Sunday at 10 a.m. All are welcome!
We have our last Communion Luncheon of the season on Wednesday, June 5 at noon in the Ebenezer Gay Room.
Our Celebration Sunday is June 16! Worship is at 10 a.m. with our picnic to follow. We would love to have you join us and celebrate.
Mark Your Calendars for our Blessing of the Animals Worship, taking place on July 14 at 10 a.m. on the Suffield Green. Bring your furry or feathered friends, or something that belongs to them, and join us for a fun outdoor worship.
Beginning in June, First Church of Christ will begin the first phase of our Capital Campaign funded renovation. Our Capital Campaign, Lifting UP Our Community, is dedicated to transforming our church into a fully accessible facility by becoming ADA Compliant. Our Church building will be going through this transition during the summer and fall months. While we undertake this project, our church building will not be available for as many community events or outside groups to use. We apologize for the inconvenience and we look forward to serving our community even more when we finish this project.
