It’s time to plan for the Friends’ book sale held again in Father Ted Hall at Sacred Heart Church on Mountain Rd. The hours for this year’s sale are Friday, September 6 from 6-8 p.m. (admission is $5 -FREE, if you are a Friends member), Saturday, September 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, September 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There is no charge to come on Saturday and Sunday, and you will find great deals on books. The approximately 30,000 donated books are divided into about 60 categories. Friends volunteers have been working all year to sort and categorize the books, so no matter what you like to read, you’re bound to find something you’ll enjoy.
Books cost between twenty-five cents and $5. There are lots of children’s books, as well as many fiction categories, non-fiction of all kinds and rare and antique books.
Come join us and buy a book or two (or more!). All proceeds support library programming.
