With a brush in one hand and a roller in the other, a careful painter touches up the end of a pew in the center aisle of Sacred Heart Church. Three artisans from DBO Painting of Newtown, Conn., were at work on September 23, applying the final touches of interior painting in the major renovation and repair project done this summer. The church was to reopen at the end of September after almost three months of services at St. Joseph Church on South Main Street.
