The following events are happening in November at First Church of Christ, An Open and Affirming Church of the United Church of Christ.
Worship is held every Sunday at 10 a.m. All are Welcome!
Our Communion Luncheon will be on Wednesday, November 6 at noon in the Ebenezer Gay Room.
Each Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. is our Bible Study in the Ebenezer Gay Room (location subject to change). We will be discussing the Book of Genesis this season. Books are available in the church office or at any Bible Study meeting. Contact the office for more information.
Sunday, November 10 is our Confirmation Sunday!
On Sunday, November 17, we will have a guest preacher, The Rev. Kent Siladi, Conference Minister for the CT conference of the United Church of Christ.
On Sunday, November 24, First Church will be participating in the Suffield Interfaith Community Worship Service at 4 p.m.
Back in June we began the first Phase of our Capital Campaign to fund a renovation. The campaign, Lifting Up Our Community, is dedicated to transforming our church into a fully accessible facility by becoming ADA compliant. Our church building will be going through this transition during the fall and winter months. While we undertake this project, our church building will not be available for as many community events or outside group to use. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we look forward to serving our community even more when we finish this project.
