A bright collection of original watercolor paintings is featured in December at the William Pinney Gallery of the Kent Memorial Library in Suffield. Featured is the work of Phyllis Taylor of Longmeadow, an award-winning artist, whose work is found in public and private collections throughout New England.
Her vivid images depict portraits, landscapes, and still life. Ms. Taylor’s work reflects her dynamic style, developed over many years. She is an active, long-time member of the Tobacco Valley Artists Association.
She is active in the artistic community in Western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut. Her work has won many awards and recognition in area shows.
The show will open on December 2, and be on display through December 30. A “Meet The Artist Reception” will take place in the Gallery from 6—8:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 12.
Be sure to come see the show, featured in the sparkling new Pinney Gallery, with its newly painted walls and ceiling, new floor, improved lighting, new cabinetry, a new security system, and new hanging hardware system.
This show is made possible through the efforts of Phyllis Taylor, the Suffield Arts Council, and the Kent Memorial Library staff.
