Former innkeeper and First Selectman Paul Kulas provides a seasonal music concert in the rec room at Suffield House in mid-December. With saxophone and flute, and featuring pieces from Tony Bennett, Andy Williams and other old favorites, he was very well received. For Glenn Miller’s “String of Pearls,” his wife Jean (at the left) added some nice dance moves. The event closed with “Feliz Navidad.” Suffield House recreation director Brian Hickey books Kulas for several appearances a year.
