Sacred Heart Church will hold a St. Patrick’s Celebration featuring the Irish and Celtic duo Ringrose and Freeman, on Saturday, March 21 from 6 – 9:30 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Parish Hall.
Irish singer Dan Ringrose has a rich and powerful baritone voice and a mischievous sense of humor. Along with numerous radio and television appearances, he has performed with some of the most notable names in Celtic music. He has taught at the Academy of Irish Music and has a number of solo recordings.
Fiddler Jeanne Freeman, who is the founder and Director of the Connecticut Academy of Irish Music, teaches Irish fiddle to students of all ages. She has performed as the featured Irish fiddle soloist with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra and has been guest artist for Simsbury Public School’s town-wide String Festival.
