For the past year, the 350th Anniversary Committee has been compiling a book of histories from Suffield’s past 50 years. Over 100 submissions from Suffield citizens are included in the 360+ page book, divided into six chapters – Town History, Farms, Community Services and Resources, Churches, Education and Memories.
We are excited to share the stories that so many have written. The book, entitled Suffield Stories from Another Half-Century 1970 – 2020, is a sequel of sorts to Robert Alcorn’s A Biography of a Town: Suffield Connecticut 1670-1970. We expect the book to be available for purchase in late May. The cost will be $25. Pre-ordering will be available, so keep an eye on the town’s website/ 350th page for more details at suffield350.org
