Local Beer Delivered Curbside

Curbside delivery at the Broad Brook Brewery on South Street was bustling on Sunday afternoon, May 24, after the brewery put out the word that online orders would be taken starting Saturday, May 23, at 2 p.m. Initial curbside pickup would be the next day from 11 to 5 and on Memorial Day Monday from 9 to noon. Three classic styles of Broad Brook’s beer were available, plus limited quantities of two experimental new beers, delivered in 64-oz. growlers. The bulletin said that Broad Brook Beer would be on shelves in local stores soon, but it’s unclear when the new taproom will open at the brewery.
