Suffield Farmers Market

Suffield’s Farmers Market is now in full swing. Vendors and customers have been social distancing and enhanced sanitation procedures have been in effect and everyone has been wearing masks. To that end, we have been selling masks that have been made and donated by Brenda Gardner and Sharon Kozaczka with the proceeds going to Suffield Community Aid. This is a win/win situation and is raising hundreds of dollars for this worthwhile organization.

This is a critical time to support local businesses and farmers, and the weekly Saturday Market is a perfect way to achieve this. There is an assortment of locally grown fresh fruits, produce, and hand-crafted products. Our returning vendors Cupola Hollow, Merry Mite Wild Gardens, Easy Pickins, Maplewood Farms, Simpaug Farms, Bielonko Farms and Julie the Garden Fairy are participating as well as new vendors, Mosher Farms and Lefcheck Farm. You can get the most up to date news on the Market at the Suffield Farmers Market Facebook page.

The Market is held rain or shine every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the southern Town Green conveniently located in the center of town. Severe weather will cancel the Market. The Market will run through the end of September.

Most of the farms in the market participate in the WIC coupon program and some of our vendors are now SNAP certified as well for your convenience.
