Julie Harrison “The Garden Fairy”

Please join Julie Harrison “The Garden Fairy” and the staff of the Phelps-Hatheway House & Garden for a unique garden-to-arrangement experience, with the return of our From our Gardens series. On Thursday, September 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., utilize the exquisite plant material from Julie’s farm and the Phelps-Hatheway historic gardens. Create a stunning modern bouquet for the seasonal table featuring dahlias, zinnias, anemones, heuchera, black eyed Susan and gaillardia.

Cost for the hands-on workshop is $55 per person, $45 for CTL Members. Pre-registration is required as space is limited, register at https://from-our-gardens.eventbrite.com. In order to protect the health of our staff, visitors, and community, all visitors must wear masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines. The historic house museum interior will remain closed to the public.

A landscape designer and decorator, Julie Harrison has a flair for creative and imaginative designs that are infused with her own unique sense of style. You may recognize Julie from her appearances on WFSB’s Better Connecticut, and she can be found around Connecticut and beyond speaking to groups and offering classes and demonstrations.
