We’re expecting an amazing firework show on Saturday night! To maintain social distancing, fireworks display company Pyrotechnico, recommended that the show be designed entirely around six-inch shells that are designed to explode 600 feet in the air. The resulting display will be visible for miles!
The show will not include any low displays, so there is no reason for people to congregate near the launch zone behind MacAlister Intermeridate School.
People will be best able to view the display from homes and businesses all around Suffield. Locations in West Suffield with a view to the east will be able to view them as well.
Everyone is asked to make plans to view the show in small groups and observe good COVID-19 hygiene by wearing masks and maintaining at least a six feet distance from others and 15 feet between blankets.
