The Rotary motto is “Service above Self.” Rotarians are involved in many projects in our community, and in the world. Neither the community’s needs nor our commitment stops for a pandemic.
Therefore, the Rotary Club of Suffield will have its 5th Annual Sand Salt and Salt delivery. We will be delivering 5-gallon buckets of sand/salt mixture to seniors and disabled individuals and families residing in Suffield and West Suffield on December 5. This project was started by Rotarians Clark and Karen Mason.
This mixture, spread on walkways and driveways during the winter, helps to keep these areas free of ice. Individuals/families living in developments that already provide sand are, unfortunately, not eligible.
