Museum Passes Available Again!

Springtime in 2021 is not as scary as it was last year. While we were keeping safe and as distanced from the coronavirus as we could, our typical activities and vibrant spirits were dampened to say the least.

With the generous sponsorship from our Friends of Kent Memorial Library, our museum passes are one of our most sought after materials in the warm months. Families look forward to taking their children to the Trolley Museum in East Windsor, or the New Britain Museum of American Art. Some might take a day trip out to the Berkshires in Massachusetts to visit the Normal Rockwell Museum or down to the Mystic Aquarium.

Last year museum activities came to a screeching halt. Many suspended their library passes, others extended our memberships to cover their closures from COVID-19. This year, museums are back in action and opening their doors again. While undoubtedly there may be adjustments for the world’s new normal at their facilities, guests are welcome to visit yet again.

So whether you’re feeling nostalgic and want to visit the Connecticut Historical Society Museum and Library down in Hartford, or you want to marvel at incredible children’s book illustrations at the Eric Carle Picture Book Museum in Amherst, Massachusetts — the Kent Memorial Library has you covered, thanks to our Friends of KML.
