It’s been the custom for a number of years for The Suffield Observer to print individual photos of star athletes at Suffield High School with their parents (and sometimes coaches) when the happy winners are signing to accept their scholarships and promising to play in the sports where they have excelled.
In the present instance, with four seniors to honor and a full pallet of material for the June issue, the Observer has found it necessary to show our readers all four athletes at once. Pictured in the vestibule at SHS on May 11, they are: Owen Liss, who has a reserved spot on the basketball team at Norwich University; Chris Margiotto, who was recruited for track and field at Regis College; Haley Young, who has agreed to run cross-country and track at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; and Nick Romano, whose commitment is to play football at St. Anselm College.
