Memories are made of this!

The Suffield Regional Agriscience Program, located at the accredited Suffield High School, offers students throughout the Greater Hartford region a rigorous program of studies that prepares them for rewarding careers in agriscience disciplines.

Chosen for their accomplishments, the following agriscience students were the recipients of the Suffield Garden Club’s Memorial Fund awards:

Nico Corbert, Suffield resident, has worked with his father’s landscape company for the past four years. He is skilled in hardscape installation and equipment operations. Nico has created several landscape designs and was essential in the duck pond and Big E landscape construction projects.

JoAnna Beaudry, from East Windsor, is currently working in the Stop and Shop floral department. She has developed her knowledge and skill in floriculture during the past three years and is now able to transfer those skills into employment. (Photo unavailable).

Hollis Burt, from East Windsor, is an agriculture advocate. His work at an East Windsor tobacco farm and the Agriculture Board and his constant curiosity about horticulture made him an outstanding candidate. Hollis will be going to SUNY Cobleskill next year to pursue Environmental Science Horticulture.
